Zurich Airport (ZRH) is conveniently located just 12 km / 7 miles north of Zurich city, Switzerland's financial and business centre.
The airport has all the facilities and amenities one would expect of a modern airport including a shopping centre, banks, a post office, a business centre, ATM machines, bureaux de change, restaurants and bars.
There are also nine FASTpoint terminals located around the airport, providing telephone, fax and photocopying facilities. Wireless Internet is also available throughout the airport.

Zurich International Airport (ZRH) provides assistance and help on request. Assistance services include porters, security staff and four information desks located at Arrivals 1 and 2, Check-in 2 and the Airside Centre. Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets
Zurich Airport (ZRH) has a good selection of retail and duty-free outlets. The Airport Shopping Centre is located one level above Check-in 3. Shops here include a grocery store open from 06:00 to 22:00, newsagents, bookshops pharmacies, electronics, clothes and fashion outlets. There are several duty-free and low tax shops in the airport offering a huge variety of Swiss and international brand names.
Bars, Cafés and Restaurants
There are plenty of options for eating and drinking at Zurich Airport. The airport is home to the biggest food court in Switzerland and there are plenty of restaurants serving a variety of food, ranging from the North North-west Italian restaurant and the Far Eastern Asia Restaurant to fast-food outlets. There are also plenty of cafés and bars including an English-style pub.
Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities
UBS and Credite Suisse offer comprehensive banking services at Zurich Airport. Money can be exchanged here as well as at the other bank counters found in the public areas of the airport. There is also a post office and various ATM machines spread throughout the airport. For business travellers, the Unique Conference Centre (tel: +41 43 816 34 22) offers 36 rooms of varying size which can accommodate up to 120 people. Services offered include a fax machine, photocopier, shredder, telephone booths and interpreting, secretarial and flight and hotel reservation services.
Disabled Facilities
Zurich Airport offers excellent disabled persons' facilities. These include accessible toilets and telephone booths, ramps and lifts. Disabled travellers can receive assistance and be accompanied from their point of arrival to their check-in desk. There are special assistance counters at check-in zones run by Swissport (tel: +41 43 812 63 64) and Jet Aviation (tel: +41 58 158 85 11). Passengers using this service should report no later than 90 minutes prior to their flight departure. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline before travelling.
