Zurich Airport has two terminals, which are connected internally on three levels. There are three check-in areas; Check-in 3 is conveniently located directly above the rail station and next to Car Park P3, enabling passengers to check-in as soon as they arrive at the airport.
To speed up the check-in procedure, there are self-service machines situated in all Check-in areas, where passengers can quickly check themselves in with paper tickets or e-tickets and select their seats. Once passengers have checked-in, they have to go to one of three gate zones.
Gates A and B can be reached on foot, while Gate C is a 2 minute ride away on the Skymetro, which departs every 3 minutes.
Terminal Information
There are two terminals at Zurich's airport. Arrivals in both terminals are situated on the ground floor, while check-in counters and Departures are located on the first floor. There are three gate zones, with gate zones A and B being within walking distance from Departures. Zone E is served by a Skymetro service, with trains arriving every 3 minutes and the journey time is 2 minutes.
- Terminal A - offering flights to both international and domestic locations with a number of carriers
- Terminal B - handling flights to worldwide destinations with a number of different airlines as well as some flights to domestic locations
